Helping health tech companies build CS organizations that scale

I spent nine years at Doximity building the Customer Success function from the ground up. I came in as the first CSM and left as VP, with a team of 50, more than 200 health system clients, and $52M in revenue. Those years taught me a lot about what it takes to build a CS organization that can actually support enterprise clients while a company is growing fast around it.

Since 2023 I have been bringing that experience to health tech startups through Shine Advising. I work with founders who are trying to build a CS function that can keep pace with their growth, and with CS leaders who are navigating the step up into a more strategic role for the first time. The work looks different at every company, but it is almost always about the same thing at its core: helping people build something they are proud of and feel equipped to run.

I work exclusively in health tech because I think the context matters. Understanding how health systems make decisions, what enterprise implementation really involves, and how clinical workflows shape the customer experience means we can spend our time on the real work rather than getting oriented.

I am also an ICF-certified executive coach, and a lot of what I do sits at the intersection of building the org and developing the leader who runs it. In my experience those two things are inseparable.
